Artist Vision

Each piece I paint represents an exploration of the natural world. I am enjoying studying colour, light, form and composition within nature. I am inspired by my travels through North America and Europe, from Alaska to Iceland. I am concentrating on high realism at this point of my career, loving painting in oil because of its brilliance and smoothness.

Bio

I am a full-time artist based in Thamesford, Ontario. I work in oil, acrylics and alcohol inks. For 10 years, I haved focused on alcohol inks and acrylic while also teaching in my studio. During that time, I also was showing and selling my work in art festivals in the GTA. Over the last 3 years, I have been working in realism oil on canvas in my studio. In focusing on oils, I continue to take numerous workshops. In 2024, I was selected as one of the top 100 entries out of 1000 international arts in the 2024 Kellogg’s Art Competition, London, Ontario and sold my piece.
